Glenna, having a go at the plaster trowel.  We had a great experience and owe a great deal to the wonderful folks at Sage Mountain.  I hope to take their cord wood building class sometime.

Chris sharing tales about Tilting Tree.

Tilting Tree was the first straw bale project on Sage Mountain.  It was used as a residence while they were building the main learning center and current residence of Chris and Linda.

The BIG place; Home, class room, and yoga studio.

Built by cool people with a purpose in life.

Interior detail

The main structure is a combination of straw bale and cord wood construction.  I found this very attractive and inviting.

Cord wood, exterior wall. COOL!
